The Sokolniki, where today the EcoCentre (Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center) is located, has long been a cult place of rest for Muscovites. Today Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center is an international centre for business and leisure. The complex’s infrastructure meets the highest international standards. At different times the Sokolniki hosted the largest international exhibitions and conferences, which were included in the exhibition history of the venue. The Center received its prefix "eco" in 2007, soon after the construction of new pavilions made of environmentally friendly materials by a German technology.  Events of Transport Week – 2011 will be held at pavilions 4, 4.1 and 7А.
